Little Wren Equine
There is just something about horses that is GOOD for the soul - and though I wasn’t born to a family of horse people, these incredible animals have called to me for as long as I can remember. My personal learning journey has taken me through the lands of natural horsemanship, positive reinforcement, designing and maintaining a track system, and equine bodywork - and I’ve come home to a place where slow, quiet work that builds care between horse and human (aka, the way I dreamed horsemanship might be when I was small) is not a dream but our reality.
There is a kinder way to be with horses. A softer way. A way in which safety and togetherness is found through care and communication as opposed to obedience.
Our teachings may feel like home to you, too, if you are looking to :
• Improve your ability to understand and communicate with your horse
• Use non-escalating pressure to teach and guide your horse
• Increase safety for both you and your horse in all aspects of your shared life
Choosing to work with a new teacher can be hard - I believe it to be one of the bravest things we do for our horsemanship and our horses. As such, I offer a complimentary discovery call before booking your first lesson! During this time, we can chat about you and your horse, highlight the things you’re working on together, and decide if I’m a good fit for what you’d like to accomplish. ALSO - if even this introductory call feels like a big ask, I’m also always up for a good old email exchange!
