When life gives me vintage, sterling spoon bowls, I make floral, southwestern shadowboxes. And document the process, of course!

During a studio clean, I unearthed some spoon bowls I'd been hoarding since college. I had turned the handles into rings for a neighbor, and she let me keep the bowls for a future project. They've been waiting for me ever since.

If you've been following my work for awhile now, you know I like to add secret details to my pieces, usually on the surface that lies closest to the skin. They're something just for you - to keep hidden or to share as you please.

Over the past few weeks, I've found some serious feather-treasure at the barn from the red-tailed hawks that so often circle overhead. These little silhouettes were modeled after my findings.

And there you have it : a handful of Hidden Treasure pendants that are a little funky, a little wild, and all heart.
